It looks very sleek. Doesn’t feel cheap at all.
Ok the docking is not as smooth as one would wish, but who cares as long as you’re not docking/undocking 100 times a day. It takes a bit of practice to master, but after that I wouldn’t see it as an issue anymore.
On the other hand, the undocking is surprisingly straightforward/smooth.
I am really happy with the product. I recommend it.
This is a really nicely designed dock that is easy to use and convenient. There are just 2 issues I encountered. 1. The spot for the power adapter is tightly moulded and will only take a new (straight) magsafe 2. It won’t allow you to use the plug from an Apple Cinema Display (the MDP one, pre-Thunderbolt) even with an adapter. 2. The ethernet driver doesn’t work on first install. You need to install it, try it, remove the ethernet connection from network connections, then reboot to get it to see the connected ethernet cable. I discovered this by chance, but I imagine many people have been unable to connect.
Overall, good purchase and posted quickly to Australia.
I received it in good time and, although I had to pay 30% of its value to customs, I am still happy with it.
With hindsight, I should have got the 2.0 Pro. Not enough USB ports. I got myself a hub and that problem is solved, BUT I cannot charge my Macbook without ejecting it from the dock. THAT is very annoying!

This device is a perfect match for those who want to transform their Macbook Airs into desktop for office use and do not want to mess up connecting and disconnecting cables when travelling.
I have not found a single issue with the device and am very satisfied with it so far.
My set up is as follows:
Two seconds to plugin and five seconds to plug out (need to wait to undock the HDs).
Finally I also own a Hengdock for my old matchbook pro, and although I cannot complain about that one, the LZ is much easier to use and to setup. Also shipping and customer care were really fast and great.
Perhaps a little improvement would be to pass through the stereo jack into the dock station but this is really minor.
In two words: SIMPLY GREAT!

Great product, easy to set up. The customer service is excellent for the question that I did have. Would recommend to anyone looking for an easy to use dock built to a high standard.
Everything works as described, easy to handle, easy to put at cabinet at work.. all ports function properly. Only minus is that you don’t have it in Switzerland and I needed to pay customs fee 🙂
Perfect product
The product is perfect. I use it with an external display and some externals USB3 HDDs, and works like a charm. Also u can use a SD card, cause the slot is still usable. The dock is really well builded and have everything u need into the box.
On the other hand i had to pay a lot (around 76$ on customs taxes), so at the end the product is a bit expensive if you want to buy it in Europe.
From 1 to 10, i give it… 8 and the left 2 points are for the price, if i lived in USA, i would give it 10.
