An Easy Guide to Docking

Safe and Secure

Keep your MacBook computer secure with the LandingZone's
built-in Security Slot and a Kensington® keyed laptop lock

All LandingZone docking stations come with a Security Slot to attach a Kensington® lock.
Connected by a solid stainless steel bar, it is a highly effective cable locking system.

This is how the locking system works

The solid stainless steel frame inside a LandingZone docking station captures the MacBook computer when you dock.
A keyed laptop lock slides into the Security Slot and locks the MacBook computer to the LandingZone*.
With the lock attached, the LandingZone docking station cannot be removed from the MacBook computer.

*Secure the lock's cable to any fixed object before you
lock the LandingZone to your MacBook computer.

See The Lock's Endurance Test

In these two videos for the MacBook Air
and MacBook Pro with Retina display,
you'll see firsthand that when tampered with
the lock remains strong and secure.
